Drivers and pedestrians are being told by the City of Regina that 11th Avenue remains closed between Hamilton Street and Cornwall.

Wednesday’s windstorm resulted in significant damage being caused to the pedway that links the Cornwall Centre to the Bank of Montreal building meaning a safety concern.  While debris has been cleaned up and the pedway secured, repairs are needed which will happen Friday morning.

Until those repairs are complete, that area will remain closed to all traffic.  It is expected that will take one day.
