Highways in some parts of SK in bad shape as snow moves in

It’s nothing compared to what Saskatchewan experienced last week, but some parts of the province is going through another night of some severe winter weather.

The Highway Hotline is reporting several highways have a travel not recommended status on them including Highway 11 from Regina to Davidson, the Regina bypass, and Highway 6 from Regina to Southey.  Roads in the west-central part of the province are also less than ideal.

While there are no watches or warnings out, Environment Canada is calling for light snow, winds in the 60 kilometer range and temperatures around the freezing mark.
