Riders secondary gets stronger as L.J McCray signs one-year contract extension

The Riders have re-signed many of its core free agents on the offensive side of the ball, now they have gotten a key piece of the defence to re-sign.

On Monday afternoon, the team announced defensive back L.J McCray will be back in 2021 after signing a one-year contract extension.

In 13 games in 2019, his first in the CFL, he had three interceptions and 47 tackles over 13 games.

McCray has spent time in the NFL having played 22 games over two seasons with San Francisco in 2014 and 2015.   He also spent time with Carolina and Buffalo.
