City of Regina launches transit, paratransit public survey

Reginans are encouraged to share their experiences with riding Regina transit and paratransit, and how they would like to see the services run in the future, through an online survey.

Director of Transit, Brad Bells, says the survey is not just for those who do use the service, but for those who don’t ride as well for various reasons.

“We really want to know from the public what is working for them and what isn’t. “Bells said. “We want feedback on everything to do with reviewing routes, customer service, the fares and many other things.  We want to hear from those who aren’t using the service as well because we want to know why and what are the barriers they see.  We want the entire public to have their say.”

Participants must complete the survey by Feb. 23. The survey can be found at the city’s website.

When completed the information will be compiled to help develop a Regina Transit Master Plan to help guide decisions short and long-term over the next 25 years.  It is hoped that plan will be completed by the end of 2021 and submitted to Council for consideration.
