Riders sign former third-round NFL draft pick

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are bringing in offensive tackle Antonio Garcia.

Garcia played collegiate football with Troy University, and did not allow a sack on 900 offensive snaps in his senior year. He was drafted by the NFL’s New England Patriots in the third round (85th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Garcia also spent time with the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, and Miami Dolphins before heading to the CFL.

The Riders are looking to fill some more on-field positions before free agency begins on Feb. 9.
