Police have now arrested four people in connection to an aggravated assault that took place Jan. 30.
Police were first called to the intersection of Park Street and Victoria Avenue just before 7:00 PM. According to witnesses, five men in a vehicle drove up to a 22 year-old woman, and after a brief exchange, got out and started assaulting the woman, leaving her unconscious before fleeing the scene.
The investigation continued until four people were arrested on Saturday. The suspects were found to be in possession of the victim’s bank card as well as some prescription medication.
19-year-old’s Wyatt Dubois and Hunter Wright are charged with aggravated assault and theft under $5,000. Wright also faces a possession of a scheduled substance charge.
Two 17-year-olds — one boy and one girl — also face a charge of aggravated assault, and the boy also faces a possession of a scheduled substance charge.
All of the accused appeared in court Monday morning.
