Wednesday is the deadline to submit farm photos in a provincial agriculture ministry contest.

Agriculture minister David Marit says anyone can submit photos for five different categories.

They include crops, livestock and farm animals, landscapes, people and farm families, and history of farming.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing some phenomenal pictures come forward, I have seen some on social media,” said Marit. “We just want them to submit it to the ministry, and the winner will be featured in AgriView. I think it’s something good to do, and we’re all proud of our families and our farms, and what we do.”

The top photos in each category will be on Saskatchewan agriculture’s facebook event page for public voting.

The top photo will be highlighted February 23rd, Canada’s agriculture day.
