On Wednesday, Regina Police observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen, driving in the area of Park Street and Victoria Avenue.
Police approached the vehicle after the driver parked on the 2400 block of Lacon Street. A man exited the vehicle and walked away. When police commanded him to stop, he fled on foot.
Officers caught up with the man after a brief foot chase and took him into custody. The vehicle was recovered, and it was determined the vehicle had been stolen two days earlier. When the vehicle was stolen, it was unlocked with the keys inside.
