Two men from Regina and a woman from Fort Qu’Appelle are facing multiple firearms-related charges following a traffic stop by Regina police on Wednesday morning.
At around 4:30 a.m., police officers spotted a vehicle that was involved in an incident on Tuesday where the vehicle evaded police. Police performed a traffic stop the vehicle on the 3500 block of 5th Avenue.
One of the officers noticed the barrel of a shotgun peaking from under the seat when they went to speak to the driver and passengers. 23-year-old Koletyn Blaze Creeley of Regina, 26-year-old Wyatt Reeve Britton of Regina and 36-year-old Violet Elizabeth Bellegarde of Fort Qu’Appelle were taken into custody by police.
While the three individuals were brought in for questioning, officers located a sawed-off rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, ammunition and a large knife in the vehicle.
All three accused made their first appearances on their charges Wednesday afternoon.
