RPS hand out another COVID-19 ticket

Regina police have charged a 47-year-old Regina man after it was determined he was in violation of the province’s public health order.

On February 11, police say they were called to a home about a domestic conflict with one of the people inside apparently COVID-19 positive and in a position where he was to be self-isolating.

The man, who was extremely agitated and appeared to be intoxicated, was escorted to his home to self-isolate. While a $2800 ticket was not given at that time, it was on Thursday.

Regina police have now handed out 25 COVID-19 related breach tickets. Of those 25, 17 have happened since January 1.
