Riders sign former Washington State QB Luke Falk to contract

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added an arm to their roster as they signed quarterback Luke Falk.

In four years at Washington State, Falk threw for 14,486 yards, which is the eighth-highest total in Division 1 NCAA football history to go with 119 touchdowns.  In his final year with the Cougars, he threw for 3,593 yards and 30 touchdowns and ended up being drafted by Tennessee in the 2018 NFL draft,   He holds a number of Washington State and Pac-12 records.

Falk eventually found his way to the New York Jets where he ended up coming in in relief for an injured Trevor Siemian in a Monday Night Football game that the Jets lost 24-3 to Cleveland. He then started the next two games before being let go

The 26-year-old joins Falk joins Cody Fajardo, James Franklin, Mason Fine, Isaac Harker and Tom Flacco as quarterbacks on the roster.  At the same time the team announced the signing of Falk, they announced that quarterback Justice Hansen had been released.
