Three deaths, 146 new cases and 77 recoveries. Those are the numbers coming from the province Friday when it comes to COVID-19, It puts the active case count at 1,582
The three who died were someone in their 50’s from the northwest zone, one in their 70’s from the southcentral zone and another in their 80’s from the Regina region. These three deaths bring the provincial total to 365.
There are 146 new cases to tell you about. The new cases are located in the Far North West (13), Far North Central (1), Far North East (9), North West (16), North Central (26), North East (2), Saskatoon (32), Central East (11), Regina (30), South West (1), South Central (1) and South East (4) zones.
172 people are in hospital with 153 getting inpatient care including 43 in Regina and 19 people in intensive care including four in Regina.
The seven-day daily average now stands at 157 or 12.8 cases per 100,000 population. That number stood at 300 one month ago.
2,724 tests were processed in Saskatchewan Thursday meaning just over 554,000 people have been tested.
2,403 vaccines were delivered Thursday meaning just over 53,000 vaccines have been handed out. A majority of those vaccines were delivered in the east central region.
The province says with Pfizer shipments arriving this week that Phase one vaccination clinics will be running throughout the weekend.
