Add sea shanties to Hunter Brothers list of work

It’s a sea shanty with a Saskatchewan spin.

The Hunter Brothers are the latest act to get involved in performing a sea shanty as they have done so with their song “Those Were the Nights”

It features the Shaunavon five singing around a barrel being used for percussion with a tractor rolling in at the start of the video.

Ty Hunter says it is something fans were asking for and they were more than happy to oblige. He says the reaction received has been phenomenal.

“Just with the hardship of these times, it is so important to have a smile and a laugh in the middle of the day.” Hunter said. “When somebody says I needed this today or this just brightened what was a tough day up, that makes it worth it. ”

Like all musical acts, the Hunter Brothers have been unable to do their thing in front of fans for almost a year now because of the pandemic.  He says while it has been great spending more time with family, the group are just waiting for that go-ahead to be given so they once again get on stage and do what they love to do in front of their fans.
