Police in Regina are now treating a Sunday morning death as a homicide investigation.
The case started as a death investigation after police officers were called at around 6:30 a.m. to a home on the 1000 block of Garnet Street. Officers learned there was an injured man at the address.
EMS arrived to the scene and took the man to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The scene of the incident was secured and the coroner, along with other investigative units, were brought in for the investigation.
Police say the victim is 32-year-old Justin Robert Delorme of Regina. His family has been notified of his death, which is Regina’s third homicide of the year.
