More than $700,000 was raised during the opening weekend of the Scotties in the annual Sandra Schmirler Foundation telethon.
The annual event, in it’s 20th year in 2021, raises funds for babies born prematurely , sick or undersized.
This year’s total of $700,758 broke the record and exceeded the foundations target goal.
Canada you have done it. Smashed the record, exceeded the goal, helped so many babies with your unbelievable generosity.
$700,758 to help #ChampionsStartSmall!
