Sask. Stock Growers hosting online auction

The Saskatchewan Stock Growers holds its first ever online fundraising auction this week.

Stock Growers president Kelcy Elford says the auction is usually held at the annual meeting, but was cancelled last year due to the coronavirus.

He says the funds from the auction will be used for operating the organization in the coming year.

“In the auction, there’s something there for everybody, there’s 81 items listed anywhere from steak suppers to barbecues, to African safaris,” said Elford. “It’s not just livestock driven, anybody and everybody can log on and find something that will suit their needs and wants.”

The list of items can be viewed on the Stock Growers website.

Bidding opens 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning and closes at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
