A steal of three late gives Saskatchewan 9-6 win over Quebec

A steal of three in the 9th propelled Saskatchewan to a 9-6 win over Quebec Tuesday night, to improve to 3-2 at the Scotties in Calgary.

Skip Sherry Anderson said after the game, right now their only focus is pilling up more victories.

“I haven’t really looked at the standings and the stats, I know it is a bit of a hot mess, but for us right now we just need to go out there. play well and win some more games,” she said.

Third Nancy Martin also spoke after the win and said the consistency is coming after a slow start.

“I feel like we started a little shaky but we’re getting a little stronger, we’ve had our moments out there where Sherry bailed us out,” Martin said.

Saskatchewan will face Team Wild Card 1 Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m..

Tracy Fleury’s Team, being Skipped by Chelsea Carey is currently 4-2, and coming off a 10-6 win over Prince Edward Island.
