Police arrest one person in connection to SWAT call-out Wednesday night

Regina Police have arrested one person in connection to a drug trafficking incident on the 700 block of Robinson Street near Albert Street.

Police, along with the SWAT and Street Gang unit attended the scene for a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation. Three people were taken into custody, but two people were released without charges.

A search of the property led to the discovery and seizure of two substances believed to be Fentanyl and Meth.

35-year-old Shannon Woolsey faces two drug possession charges for the purpose of trafficking.

She appeared in court Thursday morning.
