Riders sign Saskatoon-born OL Brett Boyko

Brett Boyko is coming home.

The Riders announced they have come to terms with the Saskatoon-born offensive lineman.

The 28-year-old played 15 games for the B.C Lions in 2019.  The Lions drafted Boyko in the 2nd round of the 2015 CFL draft, but before coming north of the border, the UNLV grad spent parts of four seasons on the practice roster of the Eagles and Chargers before playing for San Diego in the Alliance of American football.

The Riders also announced they have signed defensive back Kentrell Brice.

Brice played five NFL seasons in Green Bay, Tampa Bay, Chicago and Arizona. He recorded 94 tackles, one sack, one interception and six passes defended in 36 career NFL games.

He was also selected by the Seattle Dragons in the XFL in 2020.

Brice played his collegiate football with Louisiana Tech, playing in 50 career games and making 210 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, five sacks, three interceptions, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. As a senior, he was an All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2015.
