Two in custody, warrant issued for third suspect in attempted murder case: Moose Jaw Police

Two suspects have been arrested and a third individual remains at large in an attempted murder investigation by the Moose Jaw Police Service.

It was on Feb. 26 when police in Moose Jaw were called to a possible assault on the 0 block of Stadacona Street West. Officers were unable to locate a victim or witnesses during their initial response to the call.

Further investigation resulted in police obtaining the identity of a man who was the victim of the incident. He sustained serious head injuries and was receiving treatment at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital at the time. Police say he has since been released and is expected to make a full recovery.

Moose Jaw police executed a search warrant on the block of the initial call where further evidence was located and seized. It helped in the arrests of Kaylin Fletcher and Jason Fudge who were charged with attempted murder, robbery and possession of a controlled substance (crystal meth).

Police have issued a warrant for a third person involved in this case, Brandon Gariepy, who faces charges of attempted murder and robbery. MJPS says any information regarding his whereabouts can be directed to them or Crime Stoppers.
