Tisdale RCMP are at the scene of a fatal collision on Highway #35 about 2.5 miles north of the community.

Investigation has indicated a northbound SUV collided with a westbound truck travelling on a grid road crossing the highway.

One 65-year-old man has already been declared dead at the scene and a woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

EMS as well as the Tisdale Fire Department are at the scene. The highway was closed for several hours, but reopened Thursday afternoon.
