Swift Current RCMP say an increased police presence in the city is due to an on-going investigation.
Details are thin at this time, but a news release says officers can be seen at apartment buildings on the 600 block of Chaplin Street, 200 block of 7th Avenue West and on Colonel Otter Drive in Swift Current.
There is no risk to public safety.
Police say more details will be released later on Friday.
