Regina man facing charges after smashing vehicle windows near the Saskatchewan Legislature

A 27-year-old man is facing charges in connection to a window smashing incident at the Saskatchewan Legislature Thursday afternoon.

Just before 2:00 PM, police were called to the Legislature where a man allegedly threw a brick through the front and back windows of a parked vehicle. It was later learned another car window nearby was also smashed in similar fashion.

Officers were able to obtain video of the mischief incident, and were able to arrest the suspect a short distance away.

27-year-old Brandon Pickering is charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000.

Pickering will appear in Provincial Court on July 29.
