A Regina man is facing charges in connection to the city’s fourth murder of the year.

Police were called to the 100 block of St. John Street for a report of an injured man early Sunday morning. Police were able to locate the victim, who was later identified as 45-year-old Lawrence Godfrey. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon investigation, police were able to locate and arrest a suspect in connection to the matter.

25-year-old Anthony Seon of Regina has been charged with second degree murder. Seon will appear in court on Tuesday morning.
