Regina Fire called to early morning house fire in city’s south end

Those on Wilkinson Crescent in Regina’s south end had something to talk about Monday morning as they had an early morning visit from Regina’s Fire Department.

Crews were called to a home just off Pasqua Street just after 3 AM. The blaze was contained to a room on the second floor.

The department is crediting a working smoke detector for those inside the home getting out safely.

At this point, it is not known what started the fire.
