Regina Police make arrest in connection to stolen auto

A Regina man is facing five charges in connection to a stolen vehicle incident on Tuesday.

Police were made aware of a suspicious vehicle on the 1100 block of Robinson Street on Tuesday morning. A check of the vehicle showed that the vehicle itself was reported stolen in BC, while the licence plate belonged to a truck licensed in Alberta.

Police arrested the suspect at a nearby business without incident.

26-year-old Jordan Harkness-Brown of Regina faces five charges:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000;
  • Carrying Concealed Weapon (knife);
  • Operation of a Conveyance While Prohibited;
  • Breach of Probation; and
  • Breach of Release Conditions.

Harkness-Brown appeared in court Wednesday morning.
