The Saskatchewan Health Authority says its expanding booking eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine to residents 80 years old and over starting at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.
The booking system was open only to residents in the 85 and up age category when it launched on Thursday morning. However the SHA says they are opening up eligibility due to the success of the booking system so far.
Residents who meet the criteria will be able to book their appointment online 24/7 using their health card at the government’s COVID-19 booking site. Alternatively, people can call 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
