The Riders don’t need to find a new kicker for the 2021 CFL season.

On Friday, the team announced Brett Lauther has signed a new deal with the club.

In August, the 30-year-old opted out of his contract to try and land an NFL job,

He was 32 for 41 in field goal attempts in 2019 with three of those field goals being fourth-quarter game-winners.
