Regina doctor facing sex-related charges

A 65-year-old Regina doctor who was already in hot water with the College of Physicians and Surgeons for unprofessional conduct is now facing multiple charges of sexual assault with some of those charges involving minors.

Dr. El-Fallani Mohammed is charged with two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual assault on someone under the age of 16 and sexaul assault with the incidents beginning as early as 2007.

Mohammed, who was working as an endocrinologist at a south Regina clinic, is under investigation by the College for six incidents where female patients say they were inappropriately touched during examinations with some saying some personal questions that were inappropriate were asked as well.

Mohammed will make his first court appearance August 4.
