Woman and child robbed at knife point in Regina Costco parking lot

Regina Police say a woman and child were not physically injured after being robbed at knife point in the Costco parking lot Monday evening.

Officers were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m.

Upon investigation they learned the woman and child were held at knife point before the suspect made off with a purse and car keys, both items were later recovered on the ground nearby, along with a knife.

As a result 24-year-old Britteny Coralie Shewchuk has been charged with two counts of robbery and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.

The accused made her first court appearance Tuesday morning.
