Preliminary findings indicate no foul play in Jaxon MacDonald: RCMP

RCMP investigators have provided an update on Thursday regarding the death of 15-year-old Jaxon MacDonald of Regina.

“Through a joint investigation between the Saskatchewan RCMP and Saskatchewan Coroners Service, pending final results of the autopsy and toxicology, preliminary indication is that no foul play is suspected in relation to Jaxon’s death,” explained the Saskatchewan RCMP on Thursday afternoon.

“These preliminary results have been communicated with his family and they have been kept updated with the findings.”

Jaxon MacDonald’s body was located late Tuesday morning on an island on Madge Lake after he went missing just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

RCMP say they do not anticipate further public updates in relation to this investigation at this time.
