A “secure the building” protocol had to be issued for four schools in the Glencairn area of Regina Thursday morning for a short while.

Police say a student assaulted another student outside Judge Bryant School before leaving the area.

The protocol was issued at Bryant, Henry Braun, George Ferguson and St. Theresa as a precaution while a search for the attacker was made. He was found at his home a short time later with the schools then being taken out of the protocol.  Charges are pending

All is back to normal now.
