Around 11:30 Friday morning, Indian Head RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on grid 606, north of Montmartre.
Police determined one truck was traveling southbound on grid 606, and a second truck was traveling westbound on a different grid when they collided.
There were five people inside the first truck, all from Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation, one adult and four children. They were all transported to hospital, one via stars.
The lone man in the second truck, from the Glenavon area, was pronounced dead on scene.
Police continue to investigate into the cause of the accident.
