Lumsden makes Kraft Hockeyville final four

Since its inception in 2006, no Saskatchewan community has been given the title of Kraft Hockeyville.

Places like Humboldt, Ituna and Pense have tried and now Lumsden is doing the same.

The community, just 30 kilometers north of Regina, is one of the final four with that announcement coming Saturday night.

The winner of Kraft Hockeyville gets $250,000 for arena upgrades and the right to host an NHL pre-season game.

The final vote starts April 9 with the winner being announced the next night on Hockey Night in Canada.
