Saskatchewan has once again lowered it’s age limit for those wanting to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Anyone 62 years of age or older will be eligible to book a vaccine beginning Thursday, March 25 at 8:00 a.m. This follows the government’s announcement of people 65 and older being able to book their vaccination time starting Wednesday morning.
Also able to book now are individuals 50 years of age and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining phase one health care workers and people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable through an eligibility letter.
Booking can be done by calling 1-833-727-5829 between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. or anytime by going online at www.saskatchewan.ca/covid19-vaccine.
The drive-thru AstraZeneca clinic in Regina is still temporarily closed as the province awaits its next shipment of the vaccine.
