Blades bounce Pats

After earning their second win of the season Thursday with a win over Prince Albert, the Regina Pats tried to get their third win while handing Saskatoon its first loss in regulation this season, but the Blades had other ideas.

Saskatoon jumped out to a 4-1 lead after 20 minutes and went on to a 7-3 victory.  Connor Bedard continued to show the hockey world why the 15-year-old was granted exceptional player status as he recorded his 6th goal to extend his point-scoring streak to 8. Bedard has 13 points in eight games.

Logan Nijhoff and Carter Chorney had the other Pats goals.  Regina, now 2-4-2-0 on the season, meets Swift Current on Monday night at 8 PM in a game we will have for you on 620 CKRM.
