Two men arrested for trafficking cocaine in Regina

Two men are in custody following an investigation by Regina Police, in relation to illegal drug trafficking within the city.

Five search warrants were executed, three on vehicles, one on a residence in the Qu’Appelle Park area, and another on a hotel room in the south end of Regina.

As a result of the investigation, 40-year-old Scott Taylor Patryluk of Regina, and 66-year-old Richard John Douglas of Chemainus, B.C. were arrested.

During searches, officers seized over 3100 grams of cocaine, 1700 grams of Super buff, $83,000 in cash, multiple scales, cell phones, packaging, and other items to support drug trafficking.

Patryluk and Douglas have been jointly charged with trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and proceeds over $5,000.

Both men will make their first court appearance in August.
