First City of Regina golf course opens Friday

Another golf season is on the horizon in Saskatchewan, and the City of Regina is set to open their four city-owned golf courses over the next three weeks.

Tor Hill Golf Course is set to open this Friday, while Murray and Goulet Golf Courses will open on April 16. Lastly, the Lakeview Par 3 course will open on April 23. These opening dates are weather permitting.

The City of Regina says in a news release crews have been working to provide golf courses as an option for outdoor recreation with above normal temperatures and below normal runoff helping in that effort.

Appropriate COVID-19 safety measures will be in place as outlined by the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Business Response Unit.

Those wanting a tee time will need to book ahead online. Bookings can be made starting Wednesday at 7:00 PM, and can be made up to five days in advance.
