Regina delays street sweeping due to recent snowfall

The latest stint of wintery weather in Regina has put a dent in the city’s plans to sweep its streets.

City officials have delayed the street sweeping program until April 19. The program will restart by sweeping high traffic and arterial roads, along with the downtown and Cathedral neighbourhoods.

Areas that were set for street sweeping for April 11 and beyond have been rescheduled. Residents are encouraged to look up new dates for their neighbourhood.

The final phase of street sweeping in residential neighbourhoods will begin later this month.

More information on the program, including how to sign up for the city’s Sweep Alerts, can be found at the the city of Regina’s website.
