Regina-based Protein Industries Canada has announced a 17 million dollar project to improve production, storage and marketing of prairie grain products.
Protein Industries CEO Bill Gruel says his organization has reached a partnership with 3 businesses to improve farm income.
Gruel says the project includes Farmers Edge, OPI and TrustBix.
Gruel says the project will improve on-farm efficiency, ensuring storage quality and reliability to the end-use customer.
He says it covers most prairie crops and will have results within 18 months.
