First STARS Radiothon raises over $342,000

The first ever STARS Air Ambulance radiothon was a huge success the last two days.

With more donations trickling in overnight, just over $342,000 was raised for the service on 28 radio stations across the province, including 620 CKRM.

Funds raised will go to purchasing two new cardiac monitors, as well as support for ongoing operations at both the Regina and Saskatoon bases.

In the last year alone, STARS flew almost 900 missions across Saskatchewan.
