Some Saskatchewan pharmacies being made available for vaccination appointments

A pilot project that will see vaccination appointments at select pharmacies across the province is about to begin.

In a release, the government says the select pharmacies will be providing vaccinations based on age groups and populations who are eligible on the day the appointment is booked and pharmacies will determine their own booking procedures.

Those 44 and older are eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination shot, but demand for vaccines currently outweighs supply.

Additional pharmacies in more communities will be added when more vaccines become available.
