Riders sign WR Tevin Jones

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced the signing of American wide receiver Tevin Jones on Tuesday.

Jones spent five years in the NFL, bouncing from the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Dallas Cowboys, where he saw the field in five games, registering four receptions and 61 yards.

The 28-year-old from Mississippi played NCAA football with the University of Memphis for five seasons, appearing in 51 games and starting 27 times. He caught 90 passes for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns. Jones also registered five tackles on special teams, returned a punt for a touchdown and blocked two punts.

The Riders also announced they have released American offensive lineman Chidi Okeke.
