Man seriously injured after domestic incident in north central Regina

Regina Police say a man suffered a serious injury Saturday night after being stabbed in a domestic incident in the city’s north central area.

Officers were sent to the 700 block of Rae Street around 9:30 p.m. where they found the victim, EMS then took him to hospital.

Police say the suspect, a 27-year-old man, was arrested on the 2800 block of 3rd Avenue, and charged with aggravated assault.

The accused will make his first court appearance on Monday.

Police say because this was a domestic incident the suspects name will not be released, as it would then also reveal the victims name.
