Environment Canada says precipitation in Regina last month was 77 percent below normal.
Meteorologist Terri Lang says Regina had 5.6 millimeters of precipitation last month, well below the average of 24 millimeters.
She adds it was cooler than normal.
Lang says the average temperature in Regina in April was 3.9 degrees, 9-tenths of one degree below normal.
Lang says the outlook is for continued dryness and warmer than normal in May in southern Saskatchewan.
