Regina residents have until Tuesday to fill out their census forms online.

And while you are legally obligated to participate in the census, it’s also a valuable tool for the City of Regina, as they plan future growth for the area and learn about population growth and demographics in different parts of the city.

Mayor Sandra Masters says the City sees about ten percent of their annual budget revenue come from government grant transfers determined by Canadian Census data.

Census forms were mailed to everyone, steps are provided on how to fill out the forms online.
