The province says a woman in her 60’s who received the AstraZeneca vaccine on April 11 is recovering after getting treatment for a blood clot.
Approximately 72,000 people in Saskatchewan have been given AstraZeneca as their first dose. This brings the total of people in Canada to have developed a blood clot after taking a dose of AstraZeneca to 18. As of May 1, the Public Health Agency of Canada says 2,050,000 first doses of AstraZeneca have been given.
