The deaths were all men between the ages of 26 to 55. Police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating the deaths.

Police are calling this a complex issue being addressed in multiple areas, such as public education, legislation to protect those reporting drug overdoses and more supports for people struggling with addictions.

Officers are also being equipped with with Narcan kits, and people are being advised they can access Naloxone kits themselves.
