Regina’s spray pads are set to open Friday for the summer.

The city shared in a statement on Friday morning that crews plan to open spray pads throughout the day. Spray pads will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily until mid-September, weather permitting.

The city says people are still required to respect COVID-19 public health guidelines while visiting spray pads and other city outdoor recreation facilities. This includes maintaining a distance between others not from the same household and staying home if individuals are feeling sick.

Users are also asked to bring hand sanitizer and to clean their hands before and after play as spray pads will not be sanitized.
