Two men are facing break and enter charges after an incident Saturday morning.
At approximately 4:15 am, Regina police were dispatched to a break and enter in progress on the 3000 block of Avonhurst Drive. It was reported to police that suspects entered the residence and stole keys to a Chevy Silverado. The victim heard the vehicle drive away.
The vehicle was located a short time later on Victoria Avenue from Aurora Boulevard. Police successfully deployed a spike strip and the vehicle came to a stop on the 1200 block of Graham Road, where two men were arrested without incident.
33-year-old Ronald Zerr is charged with break enter and commit, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, failure to comply with a probation order, possession of a break-in instrument, and the operation of a conveyance dangerous to public.
31-year-old Shawn Perreault is charged with break enter and commit, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a break-in instrument, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, identity fraud-possession of an identity document, possession of a credit care.
Both men will appear in court Monday.
